Example of how our student accomodation development
finance works:-
A developer has an opportunity to purchase
a run-down block of offices with the benefit
of planning permission for conversion into student
accommodation. The property is being purchased
for £300,000 and the conversion costs
and fees amount to £500,000. On completion,
the student units are projected to provide an
end valuation of £1.2M against a rental
income of £110,000.
The local university and surveyor have confirmed
the demand for the units.
The client has £30,000 to contribute to
the transaction and their bank is unable to
assist due to the level of funding required.
